the Charles Brown Entertainers captivate audiences with their original
shows in the central Pakarang restaurant which is surrounded by
the water park.
Charles has choreographed seven original shows which he presents
on different nights. His team has made lively costumes and colorful
sets. The Pakarang has an extensive buffet that changes each night
depending upon the show.
Pirate's Night takes guests on a trip around the oceans of the
world in search of treasure. Follow Captain Morgan and his motley
crew while they battle and dance. Enjoy Phuket's famous seafood
and a large array of grilled Andaman Sea fish. Menu highlights include
skewers of water prawns, red snapper with tandoori spices, rock
lobster, white tuna curry and mixed seafood gratinated with cheese.
Another night features New York New York, a night of nostalgia when
highlights from popular Broadway shows are sung and danced, just
like in the old movies. The Pakarang features ice carvings that
are really art made from frozen water. The menu includes roast duck
with green pepper sauce, home made pasta with smoked salmon, nicoise
salad, whole suckling pig and lamb from the grill and sea scallops
with garlic and tomato.
The Thai Heritage show celebrates the diversity of Thai culture
and allows guests to enjoy the classical dances and songs from the
four different regions of Thailand. This is the opportunity to sample
authentic cuisine of the country prepared by Chef Antoine's team
of talented cooks. The buffet features Andaman seafood with hot
basil, fried grouper filet with tamarind sauce, roast duck curry,
beef stew with massaman curry and a spicy array of Thai salads with
combine tasty local spices as lemon grass and lime with spicy catfish
or sea scallops.
Join in the Wild West show with cowboys and cowgirls in an exciting
production featuring foods popular on the barbecues of the American
Southwest. The menu highlights barbecue spare ribs, California seafood
skewer, chicken with taco seasoning, tabasco chicken wings, jambolaya
and nachos with guacamole and sour cream or with a spicy cheese
dip.
Latino Night will have you dancing to the exciting sounds of the
Brazilian beat. A night of dancing and action, the buffet presents
prawns ceviche and marinated sardines, shrimp patties with spicy
lime sauce, and chilled rock lobster with Russian salad. Try a curried
seafood bisque or taste the lamb leg with paprika and garlic. Latino
Night also features a delicious stuffed red snapper, veal sausage
and tender beef tenderloin.
Village Fair allows guests to enjoy an authentic Thai temple fair
where handicrafts and artisans from around the country bring their
wares to sell or just enjoy. The Pakarang presents food stalls where
diners can wander and select from a wide variety of regional foods
while shopping for memorable gifts.
The latest production created by Charles Brown is the Taste of
France where the French Revolution is recreated on the same stage
as the famous French can can dances. As Le Meridien is a French
management company, this is the opportunity to enjoy the highlights
of French culture from those who know it best. The buffet is a delight
of French cuisine including duck galantine, rosette of salmon Bellevue,
home made chicken ballotine, pate de tete, veal blanquette, chicken
marengo and prawns or frog legs provencales.
